First promotion Video
The first promotion video was my first attempt at doing something that had value. I had played around with video editing before but I never put it anywhere. I am very familiar with a few different types of software. For this I used iMovie which was provided by the college and this was the outcome. At first it was difficult because I had to familiarise myself with iMovie again and how it worked but after I had played around with it I knew what I wanted and what I needed to do to achieve it. I chose the segment of the song that I wanted and because we haven’t recorded a music video I chose to use one of our photos that we took when we were designing the cover for the single.
Second promotion video
Our second promotional video was made by Olivia. She wasn’t very confident at first but I showed her the basics while I did the first video. She got the hang of it quickly as iMovie isn’t that advanced and you can use it easily no matter what level you are working with or how confident you are at video editing.
Third promotion Video
The third promotional video was a joint effort in which we decided to work together on. We chose the segment that we wanted to use and we decided that instead of wanting to only use one photo we decided to choose 2 of our photos to see how it looked. We liked the design so we stuck with it and chose to use it as one of our videos.
